A 6-week MVP, from kickoff to launch

We run our own products, so we build yours the way we'd build ours: lean, measured, and ready to grow.

Most first builds go wrong before anyone writes code.

The scope is vague, so the quote is padded. The timeline is six months, so the market moves. The invoice is due upfront, so the risk sits with you. And the team that built it has never had to make a product pay for itself.

We sell three things instead: AI automations, MVP builds and ongoing Care. Each has a written scope, a timeline in weeks and a price you can see before you call us.

What running our own products changes

  • We cut scope like it's our own money, because we've spent our own.

Every feature has to earn its week. We'll tell you what to leave out of v1, and why.

  • We build for launch-week reality.

Analytics, payments, App Store review and onboarding are part of the plan from week one, not a scramble in the last few days.

  • We think past the MVP.

Your v1 is built so v2 doesn't need a rewrite: a clean data model, tests where they matter, and a repo you own.

How a 6-week MVP ships

Every Friday you see working software. Here's what each week delivers.

  1. Week 1

    Scope and design

Kickoff workshop, user flows and a clickable prototype. You sign off the scope in writing before we build.

Friday demo: A clickable prototype of the core journey

  2. Week 2

    Foundations

A repository in your GitHub organisation, automated deploys, a staging environment, sign-in and analytics wired up.

Friday demo: A staging link you can open on your phone

  3. Week 3

    Core feature

The main user journey, built end to end on staging with real data, not mock screens.

Friday demo: The first complete flow, start to finish

  4. Week 4

    Complete the journey

Edge cases, emails and notifications, payments if they're in scope, and the admin basics your team needs.

Friday demo: The full journey, including the awkward paths

  5. Week 5

    Harden

Testing with real users, performance and error tracking, and App Store or Play Store submission if it's a mobile app.

Friday demo: A release candidate, with the test notes

  6. Week 6

    Launch

Production deploy, handover docs, a launch-week checklist, and a call to plan what v2 should be.

    Friday demo: Your product, live

A studio, not an agency

The difference shows up in how a project is priced, run and finished.

A traditional agency

Qhatulyst

  • A traditional agency:Bills hours.

Prices outcomes: a written scope at a fixed price.

  • A traditional agency:Hands off at launch.

Stays on through Care, so launch week isn't the last you hear from us.

  • A traditional agency:Has never shipped a product of its own.

Runs its own products, and brings what they taught us to yours.

  • A traditional agency:Sends one large invoice upfront.

Offers 0% installments, or partnership pricing for a few founders a year.

  • A traditional agency:Grows the scope to grow the invoice.

Cuts scope to get you live sooner.

We're a senior, founder-led studio working with trusted specialists, not a large in-house team. We take on a limited number of client builds at a time.

Why founders choose us

Senior from the first call

Questions founders ask us

Will my project get your attention if you have your own startups?

We take on a limited number of client builds at a time, each with a dedicated delivery schedule and weekly demos.

Who owns the code?

You do. We work in a repository you own from day one, and code and IP transfer to you in writing when the final payment clears.

What does a Discovery week give me?

A written scope, user flows, a technical approach and a fixed quote with a timeline. If you build with us, the Discovery fee is credited to the build.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, on MVP builds and automation suites: 3 monthly payments, or 6 on MVP builds, at 0% interest. The plan is with us directly, with no bank or credit check.

Do you work with non-technical founders?

Most of our clients aren't engineers. We explain decisions in plain language and write down every trade-off we make on your behalf.

What happens after launch?

You can walk away with everything, or keep us on a Care plan for monitoring, updates and a monthly block of hours.

Where are you based?

Our registered office is at Paya Lebar Square, Singapore. We work with clients across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Tell us what you're building.

A 30-minute call. You'll leave with a rough scope, a price range and a timeline, whether or not you build with us.
